The air conditioning compressor is belt-driven by the engine through an electromagnetic clutch. Referred to as the heart of the system it is responsible for compressing and transferring refrigerant through the system. The compressor took the refrigerant from the evaporator and sometimes from the accumulator to send it to the condenser.

WARRANTY
Compressors are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 1 Year from the purchase date unless otherwise noted. For rebuilt compressors 6 months is the warranty.
